Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing from the United States. His fame was sparked by his role as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in more than 20 films, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment the cancer is now into the stage of remission. But, initial treatment was very detrimental on his health and stunted development. As he got older, as if financial security was his goal because he had seen poverty throughout his early years. He was told by the interviewer that since the way he lived was so shabby over a period of time, I needed security in my finances to feel secure and in control. In an interview the actor also discusses his own growing up. The goal of his is to put an end to bullies. The cruelty inflicted on him breaks his heart. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in real life. He admits that Directors do not cast DJ in such role. For the foreseeable future, he is hoping to become a father for children.
