Raisa was raised in Los Angeles by both of her parents. Irlanda Almendarez is her sibling and so is Italia Almendarez. Francia can be the Italian term for France. Italia as well as Irlanda are both Italian names to refer to Italy. Her mother Virginia Almendarez has Mexican roots and her father, Renan, has roots in Honduras.
